Right in the heart of South Hedland, nestled within a small strip of shops, you'll find Elevation Health – a physiotherapy and allied health clinic that has quickly become a lifeline for the local community. But before opening its own doors, Elevation Health began its journey at the Port Hedland Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s (PHCCI) South Hedland Hub, a space made possible thanks to BHP’s support.

Through the support of BHP, the South Hedland Hub provides small businesses with their first office spaces, access to business mentoring, and workshops designed to help them advance to the next level. The PHCCI has been able to create an environment where businesses like Elevation Health can grow, develop their operations, and ultimately transition into their own premises.

For Brittany, Elevation Health’s founder and head physiotherapist, this support was invaluable. Starting in a shared space at the Hub, she was able to build her business, connect with the community, and expand her services. Now, with her own clinic, Brittany and her team provide essential physio and allied health care to Hedland residents—helping young athletes recover from injuries, supporting rehabilitation patients, and improving overall community well-being.

Growing up in the Pilbara, Brittany was inspired to become a physiotherapist after experiencing her own sports injuries as a teenager. Now, she’s come full circle, using her skills to support the community that raised her. “What I love most about my job is seeing people get better, get back into their sports, and become more independent in their lives,” she says. With a larger space, her team can now see more patients, offer more services, and make a real difference in people’s lives—one recovery at a time.
